How it works
A webhook signal is a JSON message sent from TradingView (or an Altrady alert) to the Signal Bot. When the bot receives the message, it translates the instruction into an actual trading action on your connected exchange account — opening, increasing, reducing, reversing, or closing a position based on the parameters you define.

Altrady's Webhook Builder lives inside every Signal Bot — a visual interface that generates the correct JSON payload without any code. Select the action (Open, Increase, Reduce, Close, or Reverse), pick your market and side, and the tool produces the exact message TradingView needs to send. Paste that into your TradingView alert, add the Altrady webhook URL, and the bot is connected.
Advanced users can embed signals directly in Pine Script strategies. The same JSON payload works from any source that can POST to a webhook URL — TradingView alerts, Altrady alerts based on price or trendline crossings, or custom scripts via the API.

Quick start
Five steps, roughly ten minutes end-to-end.
Connect your exchange to Altrady via API key with trade-only permissions. The key cannot withdraw funds — it can only open and close positions on your connected account. Altrady supports 17+ exchanges including Binance, Bybit, Kraken, KuCoin, Coinbase, and OKX.
Go to Bots and create a new Signal Bot. First, choose the Bot Type: Signals (for curated providers like Altrady's Crypto Base Scanner or The Better Traders) or Webhook (for your own TradingView alerts and Pine Script strategies). Then select your exchange account, quote currency, and bot name.
Set your initial entry size (fixed amount or percentage of balance), add up to 9 DCA layers, configure take-profit targets with optional trailing, and set stop-loss with optional cooldown. For each of DCAs, TPs, and SL, choose whether values come from your custom settings or from the incoming signal.
For Signals bots, pick a provider — Crypto Base Scanner (CBS) uses the QFL strategy to detect base-level bounces across hundreds of pairs, and The Better Traders (TBT) delivers signals from Moonin Papa's team. For Webhook bots, copy your unique webhook URL and API credentials into TradingView. The built-in Webhook Builder generates the correct JSON payload — no coding required.
Start the bot. Track performance in the Signal Bot Analytics tab — win rate, realized P&L, open positions, and per-market breakdown. Analytics are split into sessions so you can compare strategy variations over time.

A signal bot waits for external trigger events (TradingView alerts, QFL bases, curated provider calls) and opens individual trades when they fire. A grid bot continuously places buy and sell orders inside a defined price range, profiting from range-bound volatility. Signal bots are event-driven; grid bots are range-driven. Most traders run one of each on different markets.
The practical minimum depends on your entry size and DCA configuration, but most traders use €500–€2,000 per signal bot as a starting range. Below €500, exchange minimum order sizes and fees eat too much of the profit margin. Running multiple bots requires proportionally more capital — a bot with five DCA layers at €100 each needs €500 reserved per concurrent position.
Yes. Altrady's Signal Bot supports both spot and futures markets on supported exchanges (Binance Futures, Bybit, OKX, BingX, and others). On futures, you can configure leverage per bot. Start with low leverage — 2–5x — and a tighter stop-loss. Futures liquidation risk is substantially higher than spot, especially with the aggressive DCA configurations popular in CBS-style trading.
Altrady bots run on our servers, not on your local machine. Your connection is only required to configure or monitor the bot. If your internet drops, your bot continues executing signals and managing trades uninterrupted. Orders already placed on the exchange also continue to exist on the exchange independently.
